INDE Presents New Generation Large-screen AR Experiences at ASTC Annual Conference

Published: September 6, 2017

With over 6 years of experience in building Augmented Reality systems, more than 100 AR installations worldwide, and millions of people immersed in photo-realistic digital environments, INDE has taken technology-based edutainment to the next level with the launch of BroadcastAR 2.0, its first fully interactive AR system. A large-screen BroadcastAR 2.0 installation with new 3D content will now be the main showcase at INDE’s exposition booth at the 2017 ASTC Conference in San Jose on Oct 21-24.

A key feature of BroadcastAR 2.0 is live interaction. The system allows viewers to control the movement of a range of characters on a large screen. The full interactivity, live rendering and enhanced 3D content quality that the system offers makes the user experience more realistic than ever. SnapShare, a built-in photo-sharing module, captures the moments that users can browse through and easily share with others.

Alex Poulson, INDE’s CEO commented: “Since 2011 we’ve travelled the world spreading the good word about the integration of Augmented Reality into educational institutions. For many years ASTC has provided a great platform for us to meet and greet people from the industry, so we’re super excited to be returning in 2017!”

As an increasing number of institutions and companies in education and entertainment are looking at innovative ways to provide unforgettable experiences to their audiences, Augmented Reality has become one of the most sought-after technologies today, due to its ability to engage, educate and entertain in a unique way.
