INDE’s “Goodbye Rhinos” Augmented Reality App Gets BOLD Awards Nomination

Published: February 27, 2019

Crowdsourcing Week and H-FARM came together to organise the most innovative awards program – the BOLD Awards showcase the best in the world from innovative businesses and individuals within a diverse range of industries.

INDE’s Goodbye Rhinos Augmented Reality application, “resurrecting” the last three Northern White Rhinos has been selected as a top 5 nominee for BOLD Awards 2019 in “Crowdsourced Marketing & Advertising Campaign”. The AR app brings the world’s biggest rhino sculpture – created by Australian artists Gillie & Marc, dedicated to the memory of the Last Three – to life, to help raise critical awareness about rhino conservation and extinction.

“We received hundreds of submissions and thousands of votes from all over the world. Our judges, with category specific expertise, found that your work is extraordinary!”, said Mia Zamora on behalf of the BOLD Awards Team.

The awards will be presented at a gala event inside H-FARM, an outstanding, out-of-the-box location just outside of Venice, Italy on April 5, 2019.

UK Augmented Reality company INDE is the 2018 winner in the “Learn” category of the GREAT Innovation in Action Awards, and was recently selected for the “FT Future 100 UK”, a list of the UK’s most exciting, newsworthy and influential companies in the fast-growth space.

Crowdsourcing Week is a global platform that connects people with the latest ideas and best practices in crowdsourcing and crowd innovation globally. H-FARM is a digital platform that helps young people and new born companies to move their business into a digital way of thinking.
