Augmented Reality Experience Created by INDE Debuts at Africa’s Largest Shopping Mall

Published: July 3, 2017

From June 22 to August 15, Morocco Mall will vibrate to the rhythms and colors of African culture at the 3rd edition of the Morocco Mall Shopping Festival in Casablanca. This event features concerts, shows and a fascinating large-screen AR experience called Air, Land & Sea, developed by UK Augmented Reality company INDE, in collaboration with the National Geographic Society.

The experience will help its visitors discover the riches and beauties of African culture, offering them a unique, unforgettable experience as they step in front of the giant AR screen.

The cutting-edge interactive attraction instantly gets shoppers up-close and personal with some magnificent creatures, including Africa’s most iconic animals – elephant, giraffe, leopards and a rhino – through a live mixture of real-world elements and digital, photo-realistic 3D content with INDE’s BroadcastAR experience. Not only do visitors get to take part in this special AR encounter, but they also capture their most memorable moments captured by INDE’s SnapShare system for online sharing.

BroadcastAR has already given millions of people the unique opportunity to pet a leopard, meet a life-sized T-Rex, and get splashed by orcas and dolphins at education and entertainment spaces and marketing events worldwide.
