INDE Brings Founder of Tennent’s Brewery “Back to Life” in a Uniquely Immersive Experience

Published: May 10, 2019

Creative Marketing Agency, Fore, and UK Augmented Reality developer INDE have combined to launch a next-generation photo booth for Tennent’s new interactive visitor centre in Glasgow, Scotland.

Powered by INDE’s award-winning Broadcast AR augmented reality software, Fore’s big, bold and compelling creative gives visitors the opportunity to ‘meet’ the ghost of Hugh Tennent, the brewery’s founder. The kiosk-sized photo booth also offers visitors a unique photo opportunity with him that they can share online immediately.

The mirror provides an AR experience like no other and has proven to be very effective when it comes to increasing user engagement. Within 2 months of launch, it generated over 3000 interactions, 1213 video shares, and contributed to a 70% increase in visitors.

Alex Alanson, INDE’s COO commented that “This is a fabulous, fun initiative to add colour and entertainment to the Tennent’s Wellpark Brewery Tour. We were delighted to be approached by Fore to apply our technology in this way, and the user data shows how effective it been for the customer since its installation”.
