INDE’s Augmented Reality Photo Booth Brings Pikachu to 7-Eleven’s Annual Conference

Published: February 5, 2019

After the recent success of a custom AR project with Warner Bros. at the 2018 Comic Con Brasil, the yellow creature will now appear at 7-Eleven’s annual convention in Las Vegas, Feb 6-7.

For Comic Con, INDE integrated the 3D version of Pikachu in its next-generation AR photo booth, to offer fans a unique photo opportunity with the charming, world-famous character. The AR installation supported the promotion of “Pokémon Detective Pikachu”, a movie launching in May 2019.

With 2742 images/videos shared via email, and 2108 photos printed on site, the AR experience was a huge success, triggering numerous other HeroMirror installations bringing Pikachu to life in multiple locations.

Warner Bros. and 7-Eleven are now getting attendees of this year’s 7-Eleven franchisee conference up-close and personal with Pikachu using INDE’s HeroMirror.

Operating on a kiosk size footprint, HeroMirror offers the ultimate entertainment solution in any location with limited space size, and provides a unique immersive platform to brands seeking to revolutionise the way they engage and entertain their audience.
