AR Alexander Hamilton tests your knowledge on history in Madame Tussauds Washington
Madame Tussauds in Washington joined the increasing number of museums and attractions that engage its visitors through a unique turnkey Augmented Reality (AR) solutions.
Powered by INDE’s award-winning BroadcastAR Augmented Reality software, the HeroMirror enables users to meet and engage with Alexander Hamilton. After the visitor triggers the experience through motion sensors the lifelike, three-dimensional version of the founding father asks three questions to test their knowledge on the history and presents multiple answers in “game show” style. As the experience is powered by gesture control, participants can select the right answer by lifting their left or right arm. In the final stage of the user journey, Hamilton offers the final score and the prize: users can take a digital picture with him and keep it - by printing it or sharing their experience via email.
INDE's HeroMirror has proven to be highly effective when it comes to individually engaging and entertaining large numbers of users. This project is the first kiosk-sized experience that doesn't only offer a unique photo opportunity, but also “gamification” of the user interaction.

The unique AR installation is permanent and it takes place next to the traditional wax figures of the other forefathers in Madame Tussauds Washington.
One of the first projects for the UK-based company was developing a large-screen AR experience for National Geographic in 2011.
