Leading AR developer INDE has appointed AccessAR as its business development partner for Canada, effective April 2019. AccessAR will be looking to develop opportunities for INDE’s core AR product portfolio - BroadcastAR, MobileAR, Hero Mirror and Live Avatar - as well as INDE’s retail-specific VYU products. INDE will in turn be assisting AccessAR develop AccessAR’s social media filters business.

AccessAR’s CEO Chrissy Gow is the founder and CEO of the Toronto-based company that creates augmented reality content for events, conferences and festivals. Prior to that Gow worked in fashion brand management and marketing, and as an event manager in the luxury sector.  She is fluent in English and French and had lived and worked in the United Kingdom, France, India, China, Canada, and Australia.

INDE has undertaken several projects in Canada, including installing its BroadcastAR technology at Toronto Zoo and more recently at Cushman & Wakefield’s “The Core” mall in Calgary.

Gow said: “As INDE is the first global AR company to productize on-site augmented reality experiences for brand marketers, retailers and event planners, our partnership will allow AccessAR to offer new and existing clients easily deployable AR solutions for 360° Marketing Campaigns across verticals. We are extremely excited to help INDE see more success in Canada and for the integration of our AR lenses and filters into their arsenal of products.”

INDE’s COO Alex Alanson added “We are always on the look-out for smart people who can help us service our global client base more effectively, something which is much more difficult than you think. Having established a clear “chemistry” fit Chrissy’s background in retail - an important growth area for INDE - and in AR made her and her team a logical partner for us. We look forward to working together to grow both our businesses”.
