HeroMirror has proven to be effective, when it comes to engaging and and entertaining large audiences, however this is our very first kiosk-sized experience that isn't only offer a unique photo opportunity, but also has a gamification element in it: users can choose the right answers by lifting their left our right arm
An easy-to-use interaction method is necessary when it comes to AR experiences, however the majority of these solutions rely on expensive additional hardware, such as Kinect or Real Sense. Our R&D team came up with a real-time gesture control method that relies on deep learning and uses only a conventional camera without any depth-sensing ability.
The permanent AR installation takes place next to the traditional wax figures of the other forefathers in Madame Tussauds Washington.
