INDE Selected for 2018 SIGGRAPH Conference in Vancouver

Published: May 31, 2018

BroadcastAR, INDE’s large-screen AR experience is among the most innovative immersive installations selected by the jury of SIGGRAPH, a conference dedicated to research, production design, art, games, new technologies, and all the areas in between. This year’s conference will take place in Vancouver, Aug 12-16.

AR company INDE submitted their application in the “Virtual, Augmented & Mixed Reality” category, in which the organisers were seeking game-changing VR, AR and MR projects that help bring the future to prime time – anything from innovative storytelling projects, experiments, research, games or installations. As a result of the successful application, INDE has been invited to exhibit Broadcast AR at the Village, a space dedicated to installations at SIGGRAPH’s Immersive Pavilion.

BroadcastAR, our system for collective experiences in Augmented Reality, has been evolving since its inception to provide immersion, entertainment and unparalleled levels of interaction. It’s an honour to be part of this year’s SIGGRAPH, the most important conference on innovation in computer graphics and interactive techniques to present its latest iteration,” said Xava Fragoso, INDE’s Chief Product Officer.

INDE’s large-screen Augmented Reality system has turned hundreds of spaces worldwide into unique immersive worlds, providing a whole new way for education, entertainment, brands and events to educate, entertain and tell stories to their audiences.
