Pattaya Park Beach Resort Installs Giant Augmented Reality Screen by INDE

Published: April 13, 2018

Featuring one of the highest seaside towers in Thailand, a revolving restaurant, a water park and other popular attractions, Pattaya Park Beach Resort provides an ever-expanding range of leisure and entertainment options for all ages. The latest addition to the resort is an interactive installation that will immerse guests in various photo-realistic 3D worlds – a multi-award winning large-screen Augmented Reality experience developed by INDE.

The BroadcastAR experience, installed near the Pattaya Park Tower, places life-sized 3D wild animals right next to people as they step in front of the AR screen. Participants in this one-of-a-kind immersive encounter find themselves in incredibly realistic digital environments and situations that would be too dangerous, extremely rare or just impossible in the real world. They can shake hands with an astronaut, tease leopards and polar bears, get splashed by dolphins and orcas, and interact with life-size dinosaurs that once roamed the earth.

Thanks to SnapShare, a custom-built feature developed by INDE, visitors don’t need to worry about capturing the most exciting moments of their AR interactions, as this is done by the system automatically. With just a few clicks, SnapShare allows people to choose and share the best snapshots and videos with their favourite 3D creatures.
