INDE OFFERS FULL WEARABLE AUGMENTED REALITY DEVELOPMENT CAPABILITY
May 31, 2017 — INDE is pleased to announce full software and content development availability on all available Unity based Wearable devices including Microsoft HoloLens.
As INDE continues to develop a range of products and services using Augmented Reality and Computer Vision the company sees Wearable glass as integral to that process. With months of testing and development as a Microsoft HoloLens developer, we are now uniquely placed to move onto the next phase of Augmented Reality.
Due to INDE’s game-changing Unified Content Framework (UCF) the company is uniquely placed to integrate Wearable augmented reality devices into its existing fleet of products in education and entertainment. UCF provides INDE the possibility to create one piece of 3D content which can now be displayed across 5 different AR platforms simultaneously.
Across 2017 and 2018 INDE will be releasing a range of education and entertainment developments on Wearable devices.
INDE creates products and experiences that inspire, entertain, inform and educate using Augmented Reality and Computer Vision. Since 2011 we have developed location-based and mobile products and experiences in over 40 countries for the world’s leading entertainment and education brands. Companies and institutions such as National Geographic, The Smithsonian Institution, BBC, Universal, 20th Century Fox, WWF and numerous others have chosen INDE to reimagine how they speak to the world.
We believe the “broadcast” of content to an audience is changing. Internet connectivity inside and outside the home (IoT), advances in consumer software and hardware availability, and the push toward interactive, three dimensional real-time communication and consumption have created opportunities both to disrupt existing markets but also create new segments within them.
Augmented Reality and Computer Vision provides a unique opportunity to create a new generation of holographic digital learning and entertainment products that fundamentally change how society interacts with 3D content.
Under the banner of Experience Engineering, INDE’s products and experiences endeavour to create deeper, more engaging interaction and integration between people and three dimensional digital content. Experience Engineering is the fusion of commercial sensibilities with liberal arts practice to create wonderment and engagement through considered, commercially viable developments. This framework allows INDE to reimagine entertainment, education, and marketing in the transition from 2D to 3D content consumption.
INDE aims to become a market leader in the provision of content-driven immersive and interactive products and experiences across key markets using an ever-expanding roster of commercially viable developments using our key technologies. Over 5 years INDE aims to transition its knowledge, 3D content, intellectual property and worldwide client base to the mainstream adoption of Wearable Glass augmented reality and mixed reality devices in entertainment and education.
INDE currently operates offices in the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Budapest and Los Angeles.
