MILLIONS GET IMMERSED IN A UNIQUE 3D WORLD WITH INDE'S AUGMENTED REALITY TECHNOLOGY AT CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL IN GUATEMALA
INDE’s large-screen AR experience has been added to this year’s programme at “Festival Navideño - Paseo de la Sexta”, a Christmas festival in Guatemala City, expected to attract around 4 million visitors in 2016.
With Arctic Explorer, a breathtaking immersive experience for large screens, festival visitors will find themselves in beautifully detailed AR scenes and get up-close and personal with life-like 3D animals such as penguins, orcas, a seal and a polar bear. Viewers will have their best moments captured as the system automatically records videos and takes snapshots that can be printed on site or shared online.
UK company INDE has given millions of museum, zoo, theme park and shopping mall visitors the unique opportunity to pet a 3D leopard, meet life-sized digital dinosaurs and get splashed by incredibly realistic orcas and dolphins, in hundreds of locations worldwide.
INDE currently operates in United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Budapest and Los Angeles. Since 2011 the company has built award-winning AR systems worldwide for clients such as National Geographic, Smithsonian Institution, Beijing Aquarium, Universal Studios, BBC, 20th Century Fox and Coca-Cola.
