MobileAR to launch hit film Walking with Dinosaurs
Overview
To mark the launch of Walking with Dinosaurs, INDE created a MobileAR app for iOS and Android that enabled users to walk with dinosaurs themselves in real time with their mobile device on the Isle of Wight in the United Kingdom.
The application generated national and international press.

Experience
Visit Isle of Wight partnered with 20th Century Fox and BBC Worldwide reached out to INDE to create an augmented reality-powered mobile app that would users to view dinosaurs from the movie, Walking with Dinosaurs, to be "brought back to life" at various locations on the island.
After downloading the MobileAR app, users seek out “meteorites” with their device camera -- physical markers to activate the AR content -- at six coastal locations, starting at Yaverland Beach down the road from the Dinosaur Isle Museum at Sandown.
Users can use the app to take photos of themselves alongside the dinosaurs, save them or share them -- all with the click of a button - enabling everyone to learn more about these long-extinct species and providing a once-in-a-lifetime photo-op.
