Overview
The Florida Museum of Natural History, home to a magnificent Columbian Mammoth skeleton, has launched a custom-developed AR experience created by INDE to bring the giant extinct creature to life again.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
Referred to here at INDE as a “digital resurrection,” this one-of-a-kind AR experience unearthed and reanimated long-extinct giant, the Columbian mammoth, at the Florida Museum of Natural History. Itself home to the largest and most intact skeleton of a Columbian mammoth in North America, the museum commissioned INDE to develop this immersive experience featuring exquisitely detailed 3D animations of a Columbian mammoth and calf, a saber-toothed tiger, and an alligator, on our award-winning BroadcastAR platform.
The engaging and educational augmented reality experience used cutting-edge technology to bring the skeletons of these prehistoric beasts back from the Ice Age, and immersive storytelling to captivate audiences by letting them get up close and personal with the lifelike renderings of these powerful creatures.
