BroadcastAR Augmented Reality Experiences at Amoreiras Shopping Center in Portugal, Lisbon
Overview
Amoreiras Shopping Center and Lisbon Zoo partner to bring people closer than ever to wild animals from all continents through a cutting-edge, interactive Augmented Reality screen. The aim of the initiative is to educate people about the challenges and the importance of animal conservation, and highlight the work the zoo is doing to ensure the ongoing survival of the world’s most vulnerable species.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
The debut of INDE’s next-generation upgrade of our popular and award-winning BroadcastAR platform was installed at Tekniska Museet in Stockholm in 2017. This immersive augmented reality experience was, for the first time, totally interactive. As users stepped in front of a large format screen to suddenly find themselves in photo-realistic environments, they discovered they were also allowed to control the movements of the experience’s AR characters, including robots, dinosaurs, and astronauts.
The highlighted and most memorable experiences were recorded using the BroadcastAR platform's SnapShare system, making photo and video opportunities instantly shareable via email or social media.
