BROADCAST AR EXPERIENCE FOR NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC CHANNEL

Client: National Geographic Channel I Location: Worldwide

Brief: Quite simply, INDE was asked to create an amazing event concept that would help UPC promote the National Geographic Channel in HD in three cities across the country.

Solution: INDE created a series of photo real 3D animations and a BroadcastAR setup which allowed the public to get up-close and personal with some of the wildest animals in the world.

Deliverables: The system generated massive interest both in its launch in Budapest and subsequently worldwide, with deployments on every continent with over 1,000,000 views online. The system has become a touring exhibit that continues to wow audiences globally, and won "Best AR Marketing Strategy" at London's AR Summit.


JURASSIC PARK BROADCAST AR AT UNIVERSAL STUDIOS, ORLANDO

Client: American Express I Location: Orlando, United States

Brief: American Express commissioned INDE to create a BroadcastAR experience to feature in their promotional area at Universal Studios, Orlando.

Solution: INDE created an exciting Augmented Reality experience with gripping and remarkably life-like AR versions of the well-known dinosaurs from the Jurassic Park franchise. Enhanced with a hyper-real soundscape, this BroadcastAR experience allowed visitors to get up-close and personal with these amazing creatures and re-live the illustrious scenes from the franchise.

Deliverables: Detailed project planning, BroadcastAR hardware and software, AR content, assembly, launch, presentation and ongoing support.


COCA-COLA / WWF - ARCTIC HOME AUGMENTED REALITY EXPERIENCE

Client: Coca-Cola / WWF – Arctic Home I Location: Science Museum, London

Brief: Coca-Cola and WWF, in co-operation with Lexis Agency, commissioned INDE to create an immersive 3D Augmented Reality experience to launch their Arctic Home campaign in London.

Solution: Over a production period of over 3 months, INDE created one of the most life-like AR experiences ever produced, allowing visitors to get up-close and personal with these amazing creatures and helping to promote a great cause.

Deliverables: INDE's BroadcastAR system and the subsequent post-event viral produced a surge in interest for the campaign. Users at the event were also able to have their snapshot taken when inside the 3D content, and share it via Facebook and email to increase awareness across social media.


GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS MOBILE AR APPLICATION

Client: Guinness World Records I Location: Worldwide

Brief: To create a mobile Augmented Reality application that enhances the experience of the Guinness World Records Book.

Solution: INDE designed a markerless AR application on iOS and Android that allowed users to meet some of the record breakers. Users were able to see the world's tallest man on their table, fly the world's smallest helicopter or stroke the world's largest spider right in the comfort of their own home.

Deliverables: As well as helping sales of the book, the application give GWR valuable event content, and also allowed the public to share their experiences with the mobile AR app by sharing snapshots immediately on Facebook, Twitter and via email.


OCEAN ADVENTURE BROADCAST AR AT ALLEE SHOPPING CENTER, BUDAPEST

Client: Hungarian Canoe Federation I Location: Budapest, Hungary

Brief: The Hungarian Canoe Federation was aiming to provide a unique, new type of interactive experience to visitors for the federation's 75th anniversary, the celebration of which lasted for an entire month in the heart of Budapest.

Solution: INDE created a large-screen AR setup with photo-realistic 3D animals to immerse visitors in the wonders of the ocean and let them touch the untouchable. Animated water, combined with a real water tank, made the experience even more realistic. The AR screen got kids and adults incredibly close to a beautiful killer whale and a walrus, and also allowed them to play with dolphins and penguins.

Deliverables: Non-conventional BroadcastAR setup, custom-designed photorealistic content, installation and technical support for the duration of the event.


BROADCAST AR EXPERIENCE AT DINOSAUR PLANET

Client: Rightman Ltd. / Dinosaur Planet I Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Brief: Dinosaur Planet, a popular prehistoric-themed amusement park with life-sized dinosaur replicas, located in the heart of Bangkok, was seeking a unique immersive digital experience to engage with their visitors and to generate long -lasting memories of their adventure.

Solution: A large-screen AR experience, with multiple content packages created by INDE, were launched as the highlight of an immersive exhibit at Dinosaur Planet. The Augmented Reality installation gets visitors up-close and personal with photo-realistic, life-sized 3D creatures – from dinosaurs, orcas, dolphins and seals, to giraffes, rhinos and elephants. Besides high-quality 3D animations and sound effects, a custom-designed background with imitation stone and ice, artificial snow, wind and water splash took immersion to the ultimate level.

Deliverables:  BroadcastAR system, INDE's licensed AR content packages, SnapShare social sharing module.


AMERICAN EXPRESS AR EXPERIENCE AT UNIVERSAL STUDIOS

Client: American Express at Universal Studios I Location: Orlando, United States

Brief: American Express commissioned INDE to create an immersive 3D Augmented Reality experience using its BroadcastAR platform at the Universal CityWalk complex in Orlando, Florida.

Solution: Over a production period of over 2 months, created one of the most eye-catching and imaginative AR experiences, allowing visitors to be a part of the fascinating world of Universal movies and cinema in general. Consisting of three parts (scenes in the style of natural history, fantasy, and science fiction movies), the show let guests taste what it feels like to be in a Hollywood movie.

Deliverables: Full design, creation and build of the Augmented Reality content and system installation.


BBC WORLD FROZEN PLANET AUGMENTED REALITY EXPERIENCE

Client: BBC World I Location: New York, Chicago, San Francisco

Brief: INDE was commissioned by BBC Worldwide Americas to create an immersive event system to promote the launch of the Frozen Planet DVD across the United States of America.

Solution: INDE created a breathtaking BroadcastAR experience that allowed users to immerse themselves in some of the most incredible scenes from the series, custom-built and rendered in 3D by INDE. The systems launched simultaneously in NYC, Chicago and San Francisco, to huge audience numbers, with each event broadcast live online for added viral effect.

Deliverables: Full design, creation and build of the Augmented Reality content and system installation. BBC Worldwide gained positive press and increased brand loyalty with thousands of mall-goers interacting with the system.


EXELIXIS'S EXPO BOOTH AT ASCO ANNUAL MEETING

Client: Sudler & Hennessey I Location: Chicago. Illinois

Brief:  The New York office of Sudler & Hennessey, a well-known digital creative agency was seeking a memorable interactive experience for their client Exelixis’s booth at the 2017 Oncology Conference in Chicago. Sudler & Hennessey had been aware of INDE since 2011, and had been looking for some way to work together ever since.

Solution: As the USA Food & Drug Administration places numerous restrictions on pharmaceutical companies providing promotional "give-aways" at such events, the idea of being able to provide an unforgettable experience – that users could also capture by phone – was an excellent alternative “give-away” solution.

Deliverables:  INDE deployed its BroadcastAR platform at Exelixis's booth, and provided a custom 3D animation of Exelixis's Three "Water Bulls" corporate identity. INDE provided one of its experienced engineers on site for the 4-day event, and for a day prior for installation and testing. The result: Success! Significant footfall and engagement throughout the duration of the event, and a happy client.

TRAVELLER INTERACTIVE BROADCAST AR – THE SWEDISH NATIONAL MUSEUM OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (TEKNISKA MUSEET)

Client: Tekniska Museet I Location: Stockholm, Sweden

Brief: Sweden’s largest museum of technology commissioned INDE to create an entirely new and unique interactive AR experience for the first time in Northern Europe.

Solution: Besides immersing people in incredibly realistic digital environments, INDE’s BroadcastAR 2.0 experience – launched at the Museum – also features live interaction, allowing viewers to gesture control the movement of characters on a large screen in real-time. This new level of interactivity and enhanced 3D content quality made user experience more realistic than ever, and the greatest moments were automatically captured by the system for one-click online sharing.

Deliverables: INDE developed a robust plug-and-play, device free group experience, covering concept, software, hardware, photo-realistic 3D content, installation and technical support.


"T-REX REVEALED" TRAVELLING AR DINOSAUR EXHIBITION

Client: Globe Creative / Hang Lung Properties I Location: Shanghai, China

Brief: Globe Creative, in association with National Geographic and the University of Hong Kong, commissioned INDE to deliver an Augmented Reality travelling exhibition themed around National Geographic Channel’s blockbuster documentary "Dino Autopsy".

Solution: The exhibition combined a custom MobileAR dinosaur experience for smartphones and tablets with INDE’s Back to the Jurassic BroadcastAR installation for large screens. The MobileAR experience, curated in collaboration with the University of Hong Kong, showed scientific information on extinct creatures in 3D, while BroadcastAR allowed a group of people to interact with true scale dinosaurs.

Deliverables: T-Rex Revealed was a dinosaur exhibition with a difference: no skin, no bone, no skeletons. It used solely Augmented Reality technology developed by INDE, to immerse visitors into the world of dinosaurs in a unique and memorable way. T-Rex Revealed drew 150.000 people on opening day and toured successfully in 10+ locations throughout China.


AIR, LAND & SEA BROADCAST AR AT TORONTO ZOO

Client: Toronto Zoo I Location: Toronto

Brief: INDE was commissioned by the Toronto Zoo to develop an interactive installation, to educate and entertain young visitors to Toronto Zoo.

Solution: INDE’s Air, Land & Sea Augmented Reality experience – in collaboration with the National Geographic Society – brought wild animals closer to hundreds of thousands of visitors at the Toronto Zoo. A dynamic watering hole, serving as the centerpiece for Air, Land & Sea, allowed people to get up-close and personal with a diverse range of animals from Africa to the Arctic as they graze, drink and interact with the environment around them. The system’s SnapShare module allowed participants of this unique AR adventure to share their pictures and videos through social media.

Deliverables: BroadcastAR standalone system, Custom designed content developed in association with National Geographic, installation and technical support.


AUGMENTED REALITY EXPERIENCE FOR THE MUSEUM AT PRAIRIEFIRE

Client: Museum at Prairiefire I Location: Kansas City, United States

Brief: In the spring of 2014, the Museum at Prairiefire has opened its doors to the Kansas City region as a cultural and educational institution for young and old. The uniqueness of this endeavour is rooted in the long-term collaborative agreement with New York City’s esteemed cultural icon, the American Museum of Natural History (AMNH). To celebrate this rare occasion, Museum at Prairiefire commissioned INDE to create an fully interactive 3D augmented reality installation to educate and engage everyone in the amazing history of the greatest creatures to have ever walked the earth.

Solution: INDE created an exciting augmented reality touch screen installation where users are invited to create their own unique dinosaurs through answering interesting questions regarding the animals. Upon filling in the quiz, users can meet and interact with their own unique dinosaurs by means of INDE's BroadcastAR experience.

AR EXPERIENCE FOR BBC WORLDWIDE / 20TH CENTURY FOX / VISIT ISLE OF WIGHT

Client: BBC Worldwide / 20th Century Fox / Visit Isle of Wight I Location: United Kingdom

Brief: To create a dynamic augmented reality experience to mark the launch of the Walking with Dinosaurs: The Movie. The system should allow members of the public to see dinosaurs with their mobile devices at specific locations on the Isle of Wight, UK.

Solution: To create a location specific augmented reality experience, INDE custom designed an AR calibration tool to allow it to place dinosaurs on any landscape in the Isle of Wight. The Walking with Dinosaurs app was the first time users could see dinosaurs walking on the actual landscape in front of them with fully animated 3D models wandering beaches, hillsides and fields across the island.

Deliverables: The application created national and international television press for the Walking with Dinosaurs brand and Visit Isle of Wight. It provides a permanent attraction to island with little or no infrastructure or support on the ground.
